Fabric Dye Manipulation

This class is not quite tie-dye and not quite Shibori (Japanese tie dye) but uses the aspects of both. In this class we will be manipulating fabric to create patterns on fabric once dye is applied.

Clinic: How to Pick Fabric

You have picked out a pattern...now what? How do I choose my fabrics? We will talk about the basics for picking fabrics. We will talk about contrast, complementary, prints and WOW fabrics! This class is if you are new to quilting or just aren’t sure about what to look for when shopping for fabric. At a later date we will have an intermediate session about planning and composition.

Basic Free Motion Quilting

Clinic: Binding

You have completed your quilt top! YEAH!!! How do I want to bind my quilt? You mean there is more than one way?? Yes!! We will discuss and experiment with different types of binding you may want to use for your quilt. A good binding is the finishing touch to your quilt projects.

Class Policy

  • Your seat in a class is not guaranteed until the class fee has been paid.
  • Should you need to cancel your registration, we will gladly refund your fee with at least 3 days' notice. Cancellations within 3 days of the class are not eligible for credit or refund. If Quilt 'n Stuff should need to cancel a class, you will have the option of a credit or refund.
  • All materials for classes are available at Quilt 'n Stuff at a discount.
  • Unless otherwise noted, students must be at least 14 yrs of age.
